New dental hygienist in town. In the plaza, at the new dentist office, we have a new hygienist, who is great. She spent about an hour, and did lots of scraping. She is by far the best I've had down here, and on par with my hygienist in California. No more trips to La Paz or San Jose! Her name is Mary, I highly recommend her. I don't know anything about the dentist, except that when he does a cleaning, supposedly he doesn't do as much scraping. John Ford

I am now spreading my wings and will cook for you at your house on special occasions or just having a treat for yourself. My Flan receipe is one of the best you will ever have and I can make whole flan pies on order. A typical Mexican dinner: Chili Rellenos, Enchiladas, Milanesa Steak, Coconut Prawns, Guacamole, Salsa'a, rice beans etc. My English skills are good and I have local references available. We are fortunate to have living among us individuals who are published writers. One outstanding individual is Walter Zapotoczny, Jr. I would like to publicly thank him for presenting the outstanding workshop, WRITING IS AWESOME which was sponsored by the Asociacion de Arted del Mar de Cortes, It was an 18 hour workshop and he donated his fee directly to the art association. This was an unbelievable workshop and I would recommend that when this workshop is offered again that you RUN to sign up. He has a way of stimulating the individual to write. I would also like to thank his wife, Bonnie, for giving us a great deal of information on editing. We also had Richard Vaughn, well known writer of children's books, make a presentation to us. At the end of the class we all received Creative Writing Awards. We are ALL writers.....Jim Stangarone
