b. Just another note on the water park. We had a group of 14 people that went and if you have ever wished to be a kid again this is how you can do it. We had the youngest kid around 40 all the way up to 70+ years. AND almost all of us went down those slides. What a great layout there plenty of shade and places to sit when not SLIDING . And the hamburgers with fries only 40 peso. Beers 15.. So I think don't wait till the "kids" and grandkids come down to visit to take them there, HECK go yourself and Be a kid. Thank you Larry for building it!!!! We all had a great time

Hello, This is for those who may be concerned about returning a vehicle import sticker. Most border crossings have the ability to do this. We crossed the border yesterday at San Luis Colorado as we were going to Phoenix. It was no problem and the man who helped us was so efficient. The problem was finding the place as there are no real signs. It's right around the corner from the bus station 1 block off the main drag. Then we had a surprising 65 minute line waiting to creep across the border. We didn't even realize when we finally crossed as no one checked anything except our passports. It was a great place to cross.

QUESTIONS

a. Banking and Dollars

       1. We tried to deposit dollars into our Banamex peso account yesterday and they wouldn't do that. We could only deposit dollars into a dollar account which we don't have. Does anyone know why they are doing this?

       2. Your posting is correct as Banamex will no longer change dollars even with an account. Bancomer still has the policy where the dollars must be deposited and then exchanged therefore you must have a Bank account in order to change dollars to pesos. For travelers they must use the exchange houses. As for the workers they can still use the dollars in the stores but locally the rate is usually much less than the Bank. My office offers the option on pay day of taking the dollars or the equivalent in pesos at that days exchange rate.

b. Do we have any amateur or professional magicians in our midst??? We're having a birthday party for my daughter at Hotel Buena Visa (Spa) on Sunday and it would WONDERFUL to have a small magic show for the kids!! It doesn't have to be anything fancy (no live rabbits, pigeons or doves). Please let us know as soon as possible!!! Muchas Gracias!!
