The members of the Asociacion de Artes are very pleased that Walter
Zapotoczny has been given the Bronze Metal for 2010 by the Military
Writers Society of America for his novel titled, "The Fatherland".
Walter is part of a our Board Advisory Committee and teaches the
East Cape Writers Workshops. He is currently assisting with the East
Capers Anthology Project as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of
this publication. Watch BPE and future issues of East Capers for
more information on date the anthology will be available. In the

HELP!! The Art Association is working on setting up a "Movie Night"
here in Los Barriles for the kids and , if all works out for the
older crowd. We have most all of what we need with the latest
donation of a projector by Jon Kirchner. We need one more item to
get started; a portable PA system similar to the Fender Passport 150
Pro 150 Watt package would complete the set up and we could start
showing movies. We are hoping that there is some one out there in
Pony Land That would be willing to donate a system.
