Recently, my husband and I crossed at Tecate, after clearing U.S.
customs we parked near the entrance for the border crossing. I
walked to the immigration office which is located on the right hand
side with both of our FM3s.
The Immigration officer told me that each person has to present
their own & that we should have come to the office to get them
stamped before we entered the U.S. I explained that there is no
place to park, he said that is a problem but that we could park
several blocks south & walk back (he smiled & tried to made a little
joke by saying the walk would be good for us, which he is right
after that long drive). I also told him we had a dog in our vehicle
& that is why I brought my husband's. I asked if he would stamp
mine? He said he would stamp both this time. I thanked him. When I
left the office I started to walk back to our truck & a U.S. custom
officer said I would have to clear US customs again. It was a short
walk, I showed my passport & was given the okay to enter. (by the
way they have very clean restrooms). Of course, all this could be
different when the next person goes to depart. Good luck! Jane Perry

I just want to give a big shout out to Harold Williams of La Ribera
for transporting my dogs for me at the end of the month!!! Out of
all
the people I asked Harold really came through! Not only is he
transporting them, but he is doing it in style! They get to ride up
front with him and his pooch, with the air on, and they get to stay
in
a hotel room with him. Harold really you have helped me more than I
can say! With everything going in my life right now, not having to
worry about my girls is hugh....Your a wonderful person and I have
put
in my order for your angle wings! I pray everyday for more people
like
you and hope you guys have a fun and safe trip...thanks again
