Hola all our friends and neighbors:
We are having an exhibit of our work from the Drawing on the
Right Side of the Brain class sponsored by the Asociacion de
Artes tomorrow at 4pm at Hotel los Pescadores one block west
of the Goat Farm. We've really been pleasently surprised
how much this class has helped us learn HOW to draw and have
fun doing it! There will also be refreshments! If you are
interested in plans for another Drawing Class in the future,
Russ Hyslop, our teacher, will be there to answer your
questions. Oh yes, the next issue of East Capers will be
available as well.....See you tomorrow at 4....Los

On Friday, March 5th, Jaimie at the Mini Super CHEVELA in Los
Barriles (next to La Curva restaurant) will have free-range chickens
and eggs as well as organically grown vegetables for sale. He will
continue to have them available and is working on getting
organically grown fruit.

One of the dogs that A.L.M.A. Humanitaria
A.C. has had in foster care has been adopted and will have a
wonderful home in Toronto, Canada. All that is needed now is for
some one to be willing to allow Thelma to fly with them either to
Vancouver or Calgary.
This dog has all her shots, has been spayed and will have her health
record and health certificate with her. She has a large comfortable
crate to travel in. All she needs is YOU to be willing to fly with
her. She needs to travel on West Jet where she will be met by
another volunteer at the airport upon arrival in Vancouver or
Calgary. All of her expenses have paid by the adopting family. To

new family. Must travel before April 1, 2010.

b. I noticed a new bus ticket desk in the ARRIVALS area of Terminal
1 (Continental, American, USAir) when I got off the airplane
Tuesday. I talked with them and found that they are a part of
Aguilla and offer NON-STOP service from the SJD airport terminal to
LaPaz on a scheduled basis. I assume they use the bus station in
LaPaz, but forgot to ask.
I did ask if you could use the bus to LB or BV and they said no, it
was NON-STOP only, but they had been asked the question by a number
of people. Maybe we could get a LB stop added if everyone requests
the service on arrival and they see how many people would use it.
(Today, I read in
www.bajapulse.com that the bus goes from SJD to LAP for
