UPDATE!!!*****************************
While we continue to form a recycle program for Los Barriles, we
will be taking our recycles to the San Jose del Cabo drop-off
location to participate in their once-a-month recycle program, on
the FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH until further notice.
So, on April 1 (no fooling), you can bring your recycle items (NEW
LIST IS BELOW WITH INSTRUCTIONS) to the East Cape RV Resort between
the hours of
9am - 11:30am. Please clean, separate and prepare as noted..
A $50 peso donation to support the program is not mandatory, but
greatly appreciated to continue our program. Questions? Call

1. Aluminum Cans---please flatten them.
2. Glass (clear and colored)----rinsed out and without caps or
corks.
3. Plastic Bottles (clear, opaque and colored, all sizes)----rinsed,
flattened and without tops please.
4. Plastic Tops to bottles---rinsed and brought in a separate bag or
box.
5. Hard Plastic (like furniture and/or crates, buckets).
6. Cardboard---collapse boxes and tie them in flat bundles.
7. Paper, Newspaper, Magazines---separate different materials and
tie in bundles.
8. Xerox, HP, and Dell printer cartridges and toners (ONLY Dell, HP
and Xerox)
9. Alkaline Batteries (only alkaline)--with both ends taped and in a
closed plastic container.

Private Trash pick up, We will be providing a private trash pick up
service, Every Monday in Los Barriles, and Buena Vista, we will come
on Monday between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m., the cost will be 10.00US per
month, includes 4 pickups per month. This is how it works, sign up
for the month, have your garbage bagged and sealed. Use white bags
for recycling items, black bags for the nasty's, Special pickups for
fish guts, etc will be 5.00 US per trip. To sign up email

The Mexican government is requiring anyone who owns a Mexican cell
phone to register their phone and receive a CURP number by April 1
or risk having the phone turned off on April 10. So far, the only
place we know of where you can register is the main Telcel store in
Cabo San Lucas, located between Domino's Pizza and AmeriMed across
the intersection from City Club. Registration is free. You will need
to present your U.S. passport. The process takes anywhere from 15
and 30 minutes. For more information go to

Good Experience
a. I wish to highly recommend the Tacos place next to Chapito called
Los Primos. Armando and Marilena are very clean and honest persons
and feature the best tacos we ever eat in Los Barriles, and also
burritos, super-burro, hamburgers, hot-dogs etc. They just reopened
after one year closure and their opening time are from 5 pm to
midnight (Wednesday closed). So when you are hungry in the late
evening when all the restaurants are closed... now you know where to

a. Toll Road to Tecate: Does anyone have information on and
directions on getting to Tecate via the new toll road that goes from
near Rosarito Beach to Tecate? Also the condition and cost of the
road? Is the road completely finished to Tecate?
Also, has anyone driven on the toll road from Tecate to Mexicali? If

c. PROBLEM SENDING EMAILS WITH PRODIGY
Is anyone having the same problem I am having with Prodigy sending
emails. No problem recieving them but when I try to send them this
