So, you want to stream Netflix from your computer or mobile device to your TV without having to use cables. Google has a great solution with a little device called a ChromeCast available at Amazon for $30 usd. You plug the little device into an available HDMI port on your TV. If your TV is really new, you may not need the included power supply. If yours is like mine, I needed the power supply. No big deal. Next step, download the ChromeCast App to your mobile device or computer. The ChromeCast and App need to be on the same WiFi network. Follow the onscreen instructions to link the two or more devices. Now you can send or "cast" Netflix to your TV. If you read the truly amazing article from "thecomputerguy" about using the "Hola" add-on for the Chrome Browser, you can wirelessly stream Netflix from the USA Server to your TV. (Clearly my wife did not proof read this.) But, there is some programming on the Latin American Server that's not available on the USA Server. No problem, you can turn on or off the Hola App to watch either server. If you have an Ipad, Iphone or Android device, you can start the stream from your mobile device and it will transfer to the TV through the ChromeCast. Most important!!!!! When you want to send it to your TV, look for the little icon that will send it to the TV!!!!! The Icon looks like a small box with stripes in the lower left corner of the Icon. The best part, you don't have to change the audio or video setting to send Netflix to your TV; it's all automatic! The device is so small, you can travel with it. Some folks (me) even travel with it and plug it into the Hotel TV and WiFi network.  thecomptuerguy (thecomputerguy@usa.com)

As an artist of more than 50 years and an art teacher of 30 years, I have experienced the unfolding of what was previously thought to be the "privileged talent" of producing art. My high school, community college and workshop students have repeatedly discovered their innate capability of drawing and painting through my instruction. Watching my student's discovery and progression has been a source of great joy and satisfaction in my life. Equally satisfying is my life as a painter. I studied drawing and painting in high school, college and university. I painted in oil for 20 years before turning to watercolor. The desire of my community college students to learn watercolor prompted this change. To expand my knowledge of the medium, I spent over 200 hours in watercolor workshops learning from many of the contemporary masters of watercolor. I have produced hundreds of watercolors over the thirty years of practice and have been featured in gallery displays locally and as a member of the watercolor society throughout the state of Oregon. I now give workshops in BCS primarily in Los Barriles. Since my college days I have felt a kin to the impressionists and that influence can be seen in my paintings today
