The Rotary Club would like to thank Buena Vista Beach Resorts
and Felipe Valdez for a great meal Thursday night. The Rotary
Club was approached by the Sub-Delegado of Cardonal asking to
help them get their school bus working again.
In a partnership with Cardonal supplying the fish and Buena
Vista Beach Resorts supplying all of the other parts of the meal
we were able to raise enough money during the dinner to repair
the school bus.
The evening was a tremendous success with one of the finest
meals we have experienced in Mexico. Cardonal supplied a freshly
caught Dorado which was cooked to perfection; ceviche, potato
leak soup and a desert to die for rounded out the meal.
Great Job Felipe and your Staff

Thank you to all who gave
positive responses to Wild Coast’s last BPE post regarding the
negative effects of dog poop to our beach and to human health. And
THANKS to all of you that are using the installed dog waste stations
on the beach. There are now eight stations up on local beaches being
managed by local residents and property owners:
· Three at accesos in the Costa Del Pedregal / Las Brisas beach area
- managed by Skip Ackerman
· One at the south side of North Beach - Chris Geyer
· One at Datil Street - Chris Geyer
· One at the north side of the 1st arroyo – Dan Treat and Chris
Geyer
· One at the beach end of Barracuda Blvd. - Alex Spear
· One at Exotikite, managed by Exotikite.
Hmm, there are no dog waste stations south of Exotikite...
Anyone south of there interested in a cleaner beach? If so, please
email Skip Ackerman at skipackerman@me.com. He can set you up with a
station ready to install. Not all the bag dispensers have trash
bins, so please help out by packing your bag of dog waste with you
when no trash bin is available.
It can be argued that our beaches, and the associated
fisheries, are our community's most valuable natural assets. In this
case our natural assets are also economic assets- visitors,
tourists, homeowners, and potential homebuyers are all vital parts
of our local economy. Keeping our beaches healthy and sustainable
benefits the economy and beach users; and is a goal of your local
Wild Coast chapter. Thank you for your concern and care in keeping
East Cape Beaches clean!

Chepo, Jose Melecio Amador, recently repainted our
house, the exterior and all the exterior walls, partial interior (as
needed), and also re-waterproofed/painted the roof. His crew was
professional and did a superb job with attention to detail and
double coats to restore it to it's former glory. They repaired any
damaged concrete areas and did a number of smaller fixups. Chepo
was knowledgeable, experienced, timely and responsive - a joy to
work with. He also had fair and reasonable pricing.
We commend his enterprise and recommend him highly. PINTURAS Y
