The Season has begun so it's time
for a BPE refresher course. Each section has a little

The Lynn Rose East Cape Classic is hosting a
Texas Hold Em’ poker tournament at Palmas de Cortez this Friday
night between 7:00-7:30 p.m. We are expecting anywhere between 40-80
players. Any locals that are interested in participating are
welcome. A portion of the proceeds will go to local charities with
the remaining balance going to the final table players. I am still
working out the particulars including rules, buy-ins, etc. what I
really need is volunteers that are experienced in dealing Texas Hold
Em’. We’re talking about a few hours and its for a good cause. If
you are interested in helping out, please contact Chris Moyers at

to play, be at Palmas on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. You can contact

FYI, I was on my to SFO on Bart this morning(
Wednesday) in the Bay area, and started checking email.. I had
booked the United flight direct that left San Francisco at 10.30, a
few weeks back when they said they would still fly direct. .. I
received an email at midnight last night changing my flight to 12.45
am, a mere hour from when it was sent, and I of course was sleeping
soundly in my bed, the new flight was routed through Houston. Not
very good customer service on United’s part!
So beware, United help desk said they were canceling the direct
flights out of SFO indefinitely. They refunded my ticket, but that
was a waste of half day riding around the Bay area on Bart.
Flying through LA on Alaska for tomorrow, but I had to pony up 400
bones to get to and from LA on Southwest, as Alaska would not pick
up the freight of that added leg. They did switch me to the LA
flight, so Alaska is at least trying to hold up their end.

a. Does anyone have a report about the toll road being closed
from the Tijuana crossing and if so, was it difficult to maneuver
through TJ? Would anyone recommend going through Tecate since it is
not far off and may be an easier route? I am pulling a utility
trailer full of stuff for my casa. If you go through Tecate are the
visa forms we have to get for the 180 days duration also available

b. Does anyone know the owner of the boat "Que Onde"? It has
recently arrived in LB and has tied off on my ball in front of Costa
