On Thurs 13 Aug 09 at 10:00 am at Roadrunner Cafe we are sponsoring
a "FOCUS GROUP" from International Community Foundation of San
Diego. Our goal is to assess lifestyle choices retirement trends
surrounding Health Care, Medicare and other issues related to
Retirees in Mexico. As you may have heard I have been rallying for
Medicare Reimbursements for over 2 years now and this may help us

BOAT THEFT ALERT !
LAST WEEK, AN ANCHORED BOAT IN FRONT OF COSTA BRAVA WAS BOARDED AND
THE THIEVES STOLE GAFFS AND WENT THROUGH THE HOLDS AND GOT A LARGE
LURE BAG WITH QUITE A FEW FISHING LURES AND MISCELLANEOUS OTHER
THINGS. FORTUNATELY, THEY DIDN'T STEAL ANY ELECTRONICS. JAMES H

I will be coming down to LB for a number of 2-3 week periods this
winter (if I can make this work). I still need to run my real estate
mortgage business in the states. My requirements will be to have
access to a good, solid internet connection where I can hook up my
laptop, Vonage modem phone and make calls back to the states. I need
to have a clean line and will need access to the system 3-4 hours a
day 4 days a week. Maybe someone could rent me a desk in their real
estate office or business. I don’t need a lot of space just need to

Re: Baja Ferry - Temp Sticker - If going to Topolobampo from La Paz
it is true you will need the windshield sticker." However, if you
have a FM-3 or 2 the sticker will never expire as longer as you keep
your "FM" current. Just keep a copy of the current year's "FM" in
your glove compartment. This is what we were told by the officials
when we bought our sticker and also from an American friend of ours
that lives and works in Puebla, Mexico. He has kept his Texas
license plates and makes sure he keeps them current too. - Karen

RIDES FOR PEOPLE AND STUFF
a. Hi Folks,
Anybody traveling to La Paz by plane or car in the near future who
could carry 5-7 pounds of spices down? We've worked up some great
new savory popcorn flavors and need to get seasonings down to the
shop for testing and introduction.
