I have a current FM3 Working visa, and the auto permit sticker on my
truck that I obtained when I entered mainland Mexico this year, is
now my 'permanent' auto permit, as long as I keep my FM3 current. I
don't know that I would keep it in the glove compartment in case the
vehicle were stolen. I keep mine with all my Baja Traveling papers.

Hola hola all~
It's our dear friend Isabel's 40th Birthday on Thursday, August
13th, just two days from today. Many of you have known Isabel
'forever', likely since you were first helping her to learn her now
perfect English. For most of us, we've had Isabel in our hearts and
lives for the past 10 years, and I thought it would be a wonderful
idea to reach out to her and send a plethora of 40th birthday wishes
from all her friends and family, locally, regionally and abroad!
From my experience, unless you are 5 or under, for our local Baja
Mexican friends, birthdays come and go without much fanfare. But
Isabel is as much American as she is Mexican and having a hot,
steamy, mid-August birthday when so many of her friends and 'family'
have gone north can make it a bit lonely. We can all help make a
special '40th' for her and I hope you'll take a few moments to drop
her a birthday note, send an e-card or whatever you think will help
remind her of your friendship and how much we care for her.
If there's others, especially those old 'locals' you know that have
known Isabel since she was younger, please forward this note to them
so that they too can help us fill her inbox with birthday love.

A.L.M.A. ( Animal Lover's of Mexico) Humanitaria, AC will
hold the 5 th annual catch and release fishing tournament in Oct.
When : Oct. 16, 17, 18, 2009
Where : Hotel Buena Vista Beach Resort, Buena Vista, East Cape.
Captain's meeting will held in the Gazebo at the hotel on Fri. Oct.
16 at 5:30 pm.
Entry fee is $100.00 per person. Includes fisherman's goody bag, tee
shirt and dinner ticket. If you are not fishing but would like to
come to the awards dinner tickets will be available for $25.00 US.
There will be door prizes, raffle and silent auction.
