There is a very simple way to deal with your ant problems on tile, concrete, hardwood, etc. floors. Ants follow scent lines. Those little scouts you see in the beginning lay down scent lines so the whole troop can follow later. Once these lines are broken and destroyed, voilla, no more ants. Simply mop your floors with a mixture of vinegar and water. The first time make the mixture a bit stronger (use your sense of smell to determine strength). Start mopping at the outside entrances and work your way inward while water is fresh. Change the vinegar water as needed. Be careful about pouring vinegar into your septic system, especially if a leach field is involved. Good Luck. thomwdavis@gmail.com
