I will have a special section for Christmas Dinner and New Year's Eve Celebrations so gather up your finest and send the details to the BPE.
2. I firmly believe the success of the BPE is the absence of repetition. Each issue should be new news, fresh and interesting. I created the Calendar so events and activities can be visible. Let the Calendar do all the work for you. Please!!

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFORMATION REGARDING MAJOR MEDICAL HEALTH INSURANCE WHILE IN MEXICO, EITHER A SHORT TERM POLICY OR LONGER ?
IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THE HEALTH FACILITIES REQUIRE CASH UP FRONT PRIOR TO RECEIVING SERVICES FOR MAJOR INCIDENTS, HEART ATTACKS, STROKES, ETC. AND THE COSTS COULD BE CATASTROPHIC.
PLEASE POST ON THE BPE.

     Cabo Kidz Museo is holding a garage sale to benefit the museum and their ongoing children's workshops on January 16th and 17th (Saturday and Sunday). Location in Cabo San Lucas to be announced.
     Anyone having anything they would like to donate for this fund raiser, please contact Cheryl Miller at 624-122-2690. We can arrange pick up on the weekend prior to the event.

Recycling in Los Barriles continues! Next recycle is December 22nd.
10a.m to 1 p.m.
Recycle items can be brought to the truck parked by the Pizza Restaurant on the highway (across from the Los Barriles fountain). 50 peso donation for gas is appreciated but not mandatory. These are the items you can recycle (instead of throwing in the trash):

ALL PAPER- magazines, newspapers, cardboard, all.
ALL CLEAR GLASS BOTTLES-if you can see through it, light green is ok.
ALL PLASTIC BOTTLES-soon, we should be taking all plastic, including bags, so you may wish to save these also.
ALL METAL CANS-Aluminum, steel, copper, etc.
ALL BATTERIES
COOKING OIL- used
PRINTER CARTRIDGES/TONER- HP only
CLOTHING AND FABRIC

The elves of the East Cape have been very busy donating supplies to our high school in Santiago! Tears welled up in Santa's eyes as the boxes were loaded into the sled.
A BIG Thank you to all of you who donated lots of wonderful things. Teachers and students alike are going to have large smiles on their faces when they see the schools new items.
A big thank you to Carlene and David at the Information Center for being the drop of center.

We look forward to one and all coming out to support our local artists on Sunday Dec 13th in Los Barriles at Colina del Sol. The art fair and sale will open at 10am till 3pm during which we will have a silent auction closing at 2pm with auctions items again provided by all of our local artists. There will be a 50/50 raffle running from 10am till 2pm, so try to imagine the amount of cash that will be up for grabs if you participate.

In case your shopping gene gets the best of you.......we will also provide early morning bakery items and coffee from Donna at the Roadrunner so that you can continue shopping till the hot dogs from La Palma are ready all plump and juicy wrapped in bacon!
