I would like to thank Char Wenger & the Amerimed
staff for all of the help we received during Bob Otis' illness. Char
arranged for a good doctor to meet us in Cabo, then she also
arranged for Bobby to be flown back to the States for further care.
We did lose our Bobby on Sunday evening, December 13th, but we will
never forget the help we received from Char, the doctors, & the
staff in Los Barriles & Cabo. Bobby will be returning with me soon

NEWS FROM LA PAZ
Everyone is invited to come by the shop tomorrow for our
introduction of six NEW popcorn flavors.
In addition to samples of our new flavors (all very yummy), we'll
have some entertainment in the form of live BAGPIPE performances
starting at 6 p.m. After 7:30 we will have our friend the Payaso
(clown) here doing clown stuff, including balloons for the kids.
Come on down to the Malecon for some new flavors and the only
bagpipes in La Paz!

Amigos: Tickets for the 2nd annual San Antonio Historic Building
Tour are now on sale at the Baja Beach Company in Plaza del Pueblo.
If you buy your tickets before Saturday, January 16 at 2:00pm the
cost is $100 pesos. Tickets will also be available on the day of the
tour in San Antonio for $150 pesos. The Tour is scheduled for
Sunday, January 17 from 10:00am to 2:30pm. It takes place around the
historic plaza in San Antonio. Turn left off Highway #1 on the north
side of the PEMEX station where signs will direct you to the Plaza.
Included in the event will be a presentation of the history of each
building, a folio with additional information about the history of
San Antonio, and refreshments. This event is a MUST for those of us
who are interested in the history and culture of the East Cape
