Hello everyone,
Fatima and I arrived in La Paz Thursday for our last doctors visit.
Griffin was still in a breach position after 39 weeks so we stayed
the night in La Paz and arrived at the hospital at 6:00am. Fatima
gave birth, via c-section at 9:05 am on July 3rd. Griffin was
3.3kg(7.28lbs.) and 52in. long. We arrived back home in Los Barriles
late afternoon on the 4th. Needless to say we both haven’t had much
sleep and we are all currently recovering at home getting to know
our baby boy. We want to thank everyone for all your support, gifts
and words of encouragement. Fatima and I are looking forward to
introducing you to our new baby boy.

The new Cabo HSBC Bank is now in the Wal-Mart Shopping center at the
Sam's Club end of the shopping center.
Two weeks ago their sign was very difficult to see. It's next to

Exciting news! It looks as if we will finally have the opportunity
to recycle in Los Barriles! Brenda and Moises Navarro have been
helping the San Jose/Los Cabos area residents to recycle, and now
they would like to expand into our area. The first day will be
November 15, 2009, as this will coordinate with other clean-up
activities scheduled in conjunction with UVERDE, who has been doing
such a great job cleaning up the town and teaching in the schools
about the value of a clean environment. The plan is to have this as
a twice-monthly program, with drop off points in town still to be
determined. We will also be giving you more details on exactly what
is recyclable. A small fee/donation to the program will be
appreciated.

Renew Passports In Cabo - Hi, Yes you can renew and get a new
passport in Cabo, I am doing that right now. You can find them in
Plaza Nautilus right down town in the marina. Please keep in mind
that it is now taking up to 6 weeks to receive your new passport. So
go with time to spare. $100.00 U.S. for 10 years. Here is e-mail to

You will also need to fill out a form online and bring it with you
to Cabo. Write them a note and they will get back to you really
