 Baja Harley Owners Group Fundraiser - Join the Baja Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) for their annual Bike Wash fundraiser to be held Saturday, June 27 at Club La Huerta, in San Jose Del Cabo. Proceeds from this year's event will go to Red Autismo, which is a local non profit organization devoted to helping improve the quality of life for children with Autism and there families. Thanks to the support of the Los Cabos Community, last year's HOG event raised over $10,000 USD for Cruz Roja, which was put towards the purchase of a new ambulance.

Proceeds from this year's event will go towards the building of a clinic to help Autistic children in our community. This is a family event with kids entertainment, live rock bands, a BBQ buffet and an exhibition of the best motorcycles in Baja. Adult admission is 250 pesos and includes the buffet and a cerveza. Kid's admission is 100 pesos and includes the buffet and kid's activities. The fun begins at 4pm and continues until 9pm. Congratulations Team Awesome! Fishing in the ‘Let’s Talk Hook-Up’ Tournament held at Rancho Leonero this week hosted by Pete Gray, Southern California’s highly popular ‘sportfishing voice’ radio talk show host, Awesome Sportfishing's Captain Filiberto ‘Fili’ and Marinero Marco Antonio showed their wonderful client Chris Kugel and his friends, including Hector Lopez of the San Diego Rod & Reel Club, what East Cape fishing is all about! A fun and unique tournament, where you report your fishing from the best two out of three days, ‘Awesome’ caught our first blue marlin of the season, weighing in at 350 pounds(!), our first sail fish of the spring season, a big, beautiful, blue dorado, and then finished off the day with 12 roosters. The second day found ‘Awesome’ offshore and into a long awaited, highly anticipated, plentiful school of tuna – 12 were in the boat when not one but two 100-pound hungry monsters competed for the anglers’ single bait. Hook up! The thought of the evenings’ sashimi kept the anglers happy through the grueling two-hour fight when at the leader, bam, snap, and the big mean tuna monster returned to the deep. Satisfied with the 12 lovely samples in the boat, this Team Awesome was happy! Congratulations to all, especially Captain Fili and Marco Antonio, and thanks for starting off the tournament season with such an awesome catch!
