REMINDER!! On the Ball and Matwork Pilates classes start on Monday, November 30th and Thursday, December 3rd at the new Sukhasana Aula off Highway 1, next door to the big, blue Prisa Paint Building. On the Ball classes start at 8:00 a.m. every Monday and Thursday and Matwork Pilates at 9:15 a.m. Please bring your own mat and stability ball. Due to the popularity of the Yoga Classes at the new Plaza Catalunya, Jackie will be teaching one addition class per week....on Friday mornings at 8am. --- it will be an "all levels" class.
Also, beginning Friday, Dec. 4th. Sefi and Jackie will co-teach a 30/30/30 Fusion class at 9:30am until 11am. 30 minutes of cardio (walking) 30 minutes of strength training (with the resistance bands) and 30 minutes of stretching and relaxation.

DANCE GROUP I am starting a swing / ballroom dance group. I have spoken with Pablo and Bob at Tio Pablo’s and they have offered to let us use the restaurant and music one night a week, during the week. The music will be 50’s 60’s & 70’s rock n roll. The reason for this activity is exercise and meeting people. It is OK if you do not drink alcohol. All members of the Baja Singles and any one else single or couples may participate. We can all meet at my house for a couple of sessions to pick up the beat and basic steps before we go out in public. Please respond to my e mail and I will set up a first meeting, and include what day of the mid week (Tues. Wed. Thurs.) will work for you. Activity period will be 9 pm to 11 pm. UPDATE: DANCE GROUP, The first meeting at Tio Pablo’s will be Tues. Dec. 7, 9 pm to 11 pm. We will be meeting at my house Tues. Nov 30 and Thurs Dec. 3, 7 pm to 10pm. This meeting will be for lessons on how to detect the beat and to learn basic steps. This will familiarize people who have not danced for a while so they will feel more comfortable once in public. Cheep Calls To The US From Anywhere - I have had a Vonage phone for several years here and have enjoyed a trouble free, dependable service. They now offer a free upgrade to the regular service plan costing 24.95 US / mo. that provides unlimited calling to 50 counties, including, US, Canada & Mexico. Recently a friend introduced me to magicJack - www.magicjack.com  which is a small device about half the size of a cigarette pack that plugs into the USB port of your computer. You simply plug your house phone or headset into the magicJack and can place calls to the US and Canada from anywhere in the world where you have internet service. The cost is only 9.99 US per YEAR and you can pick the area code for your phone number. The caveat is if you want to use it for a house line, it only functions when you computer is turned on (but will always accept your VM). It also sends your voice messages to your email account. I use it with my with my laptop and when I travel out of Mexico, it still works like a charm. Friends have taken theirs to Europe and again it works anywhere there is internet connection.
