Just a heads up for those returning to the US. We left March 26th at 6am drove 400 miles and spent the 1st night in Santa Rosalia stayed at El Morro nice room overlooking the Sea $450 peso's. They are pet friendly and good food serviced there in our rooms. The 2nd day we were on the road at 530 and drove another 400 miles and stayed Chavez motel in San Quintin. The motel is on the north end of town on the left there is food next door and dog friendly for 380 peso's. We left there at 430 am and at the boarder 1030 Sunday morning. There were about 30 vehicles ahead of us and it took 1 hour we got the red light and got to pull over. There were 7 military check points each made us get out of the vehicle and checked it out. Looked in the back of the pickup and let us go each stop took about 10 mins. Roads were great the road to Tecate is all paved they are working on the sides but we went though on Sunday so all was quite. We went between 55 and 65 all the way and driving time from LB to the Boarder approximately 25 hours driving time. Hope this helps Marlin and Philly mwtiny@live.com.
