Anyone notice the star size red, blue and yellow light in the sky
the last two nights West of town? I can see it from my balcony as it
sets in the West about 30 degrees above the horizon at about 11 PM.
It changes color about every second.

Further to the story about boats being stolen, my boat was striped
of all electronics and fishing gear while anchored off Costa Brava
RV Park sometime between Saturday afternoon and Monday afternoon
(July 31- Aug 2). This incident has been reported to the police and
a report filed with the local DA with the excellent help of
translator Jorge Bueluer. The police and DA were very cooperative
even with my complete lack of Spanish

Just an FYI, went to get antibiotics from Soriana and they said that
I needed a prescription! Went somewhere else and got the antibiotics
without one. Just another thing to be aware of while you are there.

This is an addendum to Bernadine's e-mail on Cathy Ward.
If any people here locally would like to make a donation in Cathy
Ward's memory to A.L.M.A. by peso check or cash; you can take them
in an envelope marked "ALMA" to the Playa Norte Vet Clinic on Mon,.
Wed., and Friday; or to the Wolf Property Management Office in the
Banamex Plaza.
I met Cathy Ward not long after I moved here permanently in 1990.
Although the distance between were we live prohibited us from
becoming more than acquaintances, we shared a passion for our
fourlegged Baja critters. I had the privilege of chatting with her
at the local vet clinic over the last few years when she would bring
in one of her brood for medical attention; and in the end we shared
hugs and tears as she sent them on their final journey to that
special place reserved for Baja Hounds. So we say to Cathy - not
"Adios" but "Hasta Luego" until we see you and those Baja Hounds, in
that Final Paradise. We have lost a great supporter and friend!
