AFTER 5 P.M. TODAY , THROUGH OUT THE EVENING .
DECEMBER 8TH AT 4:00 P.M. THERE WILL BE A FUNERAL SERVICE
(MASS) AT THE LOS BARRILES CATHOLIC CHURCH, WITH A BURIAL
SERVICE TO FOLLOWS & THE BURIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT THE
CEMETERY IN LOS BARRILES . GOD BLESS HIM !

NEWS FROM LA RIBERA
Hola from Tia Susie’s Delfincitos Foundation! Mucho gracias
to all concerned for your help over this last year with the
new pool filter and other equipment we needed. I’m pleased
to report on the progress of the program this past year that
so many have helped us achieve.
We’ve upgraded our equipment and the facilities while
refining our methods for accomplishing our goals. We hope to
have a team of fully trained lifeguard/instructors on the La
Ribera beaches on the Sea of Cortez by early next summer.
Tia Susie’s Delfincitos will be highly visible in a portable
cabana with beach toys like snorkel sets, skim & surfboards,
tubes, kayaks and so on. Our purpose will be to teach as
many of the local kids to swim before they can use the toys
Our mission is not just saving lives – it’s about enriching
them. We have aspirations of seeing this program on every
beach in Baja Sur over the next couple of years, teaching
kids the pride that comes with saving lives and the joy of
teaching about the beautiful Sea of Cortez.
We’re desperately in need of exercise and weight
training equipment to help us train our kids. Monetary
donations are greatly appreciated as they help us with
utilities, maintenance and equipment costs (suits, T-Shirts,
etcetera are free to the kids) which keep the program alive.
We also need energetic volunteers to help us develop this
program. Those with experience in swimming instruction
and/or ecological knowledge are asked to please contact us.
Thanks again for all your help and we’re looking forward
