Our second annual East Cape
Artists Show at Colina del Sol
sponsored by the East Cape
Asociacion de Artes. It was a
very happy day for all of
us...Artists, East Cape friends
and neighbors, AND our fabulous
volunteers: Sue, Ric, Dianna,
Linda, Paco, Diane, Patty, David
and Suzi. Board members, Kathy
Obenshain and Elizabeth Perkins
arranged the event. Other Board
members, Brian Cummings, Russ
Hyslop and Dale Crawford were
there to do most of the heavy
lifting and such. We gained
approximately $4,000 pesos and
$60.00 USD (after expenses) to
put toward our fund for Art
Classes for Ninos with DIF at La
Cancha! M&M McKim were
especially happy...they came
away with the 50/50 raffle
prize) Feliz Navidad and
Prospero New Year to

A HUGE A.L.M.A. Thank you to the
ladies, (and a few gentlemen
buying Christmas gifts) of the
East Cape for making our Holiday
Boutique a wonderful success. We
even had early birds buying the
night before!!! We'd also like
to thank Patty at Hotel Los
Pescadores for the locale, Gary
and Jaime at The Sushi Hut for
providing the most DELICIOUS
sushi and teriyaki skewers
around and Tracy, Shelly, Greg,
Pam and Doug for all
participating in getting the
clothing down here across the
border and into our hands. (That
was no small feat!! - If you
want something to cross the
border - try putting it in empty
dog crates.) We do have a few
items left, so we will be
featuring those in a separate
section at the A.L.M.A. Rummage
sale next Sunday at the Highway
