Due to the interest in our first Yoga Nidra practice, we will be
having Yoga Nidra Meditation every Monday at 5:30-6:30 PM at
Sukhasana Yoga Aula, the new yoga-pilates studio next to Prisa Paint
store. Yoga Nidra is referred to as "sleep of the yogis" and is a
guided meditation for deep relaxation practiced while lying down.
Bring a blanket or two, a pillow and comfortable clothes. Its free
and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me at

a. I just read the story from Mrs. McAdow who lost her husband at
Los Frailes and my condolences to her and all the McAdow family. It
was an uplifting story that the Mexican authorities were sensitive
and helpful to her when she lost her husband. Her story made me
aware that i haven't related here on the Baja Pony Express that
repatriation of physical remains is included in the benefits of your
SkyMed emergency air evacuation program. That means that if you pass
away while traveling, we will pay 100% of the transport of your
physical remains to wherever your family wishes, in the U.S. or
Canada. This is not a subject most people want to think about but it
can be very traumatic as well as expensive for your family to have

EVENTS AND GOODIES!!
1. Hola Compadres!
Its that time again. Hearts, chocolate, and love. If thats not your
cup of tea or even if it is, come on down to
Hotel Los Pescadores for a
night of live music, dancing and great food. Bring your significant
other over to the Hotel Los Pescadores on Feb 13 for a Valentine's
Eve party. Listen and dance, yes, dance to live music provided by
Los Viejo's. There will be good eats, a raffle for 1/2 day fishing
on super panga, Sayrita, a one night stay at Hotel Los Pescadores
with breakfast and one day quad rental provided by Quadman.
It will be a fun evening with all of you. Come and join us.

The Social Benefit of La Ribera Club
(the club that has helped to build the “velatorio” (mourning house),
we need to raise funds to meet our yearly goals, and would like to
invite you all to our Mexican buffet dinner on Saturday 13th of

with your loved one and help for a good charity cause.

Clean up Los Barriles Monday, February 15th, 9am to 12pm
In honor of VALENTINE'S DAY, let's show our LOVE for our community
and environment.
VOS en Construcción will sponsor 15 staff members and construction
workers to pick up litter from 9-12.
Local school children will be invited to participate as well.
UVERDE will haul away all the collected litter.
I would like to invite fellow community members and business owners
to sponsor a local worker or two.
Any amount of time counts. Every bag of litter counts. Every little
bit helps!
Our community is so much cleaner than it was two years ago. We are
on the road to improvement!
