The East Cape Guild thanks all of you who bought a square or several squares to win the beautiful quilt at the Mardi Gras festival yesterday. Thank you to the Rotary for the fun event and inviting the other non-profits to display. The biggest thanks go to Liz Wilmarth and Sandy Wilkerson for making such a beautiful memorial to Mary Lipanovich. The two winners were Christina Geyer from Oregon and the students who will receive a scholarship because of the approximately $500 raised from this.

He is not fluent in English but understands enough to know what you want done. He always gives you a receipt stating the price of parts and labor. I will be in Los Barriles the month of May and I am looking to rent a small place for a single person for the month. This is a budget trip as I am down there to write a book. If all goes well I will be returning to LB for another three months the first of August and would need to rent a place, maybe the same place, for another three months. If you have a rental place or can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. On a side note, I have been following BPE for many months now, and it is fascinating how everyone is almost on a first name basis with each other. a. Tickets for the Charles Chandler Photography Slide Show, February 18th at 7pm, are available at the Music School office (Morelos y Lic Verdad), Se Habla...La Paz language school (mornings) or at the door the evening of the concert. Tickets are $75 pesos.
The presentation will be in the school's new music hall and all of the proceeds will be donated to the BCS Music School.
