A sweet male dog named Spanky has been lost from the North Beach area right beside La Colina. He is the size of a Cocker Spaniel with curly blond hair medium length in need of grooming and a long tail. He has a red collar plus a flea collar. I need a knowledgeable musician / technician who can help me connect my Midi-chord from my Yamaha keyboard to my PC so that I can record music on my PC. The software I’m using (2 different ones) recognize the connection, but don’t record the music. I’m willing to download whatever software would work on my Windows XP or Windows Vista machines.

I'll be in the office this week from 3:00 to 5:00 on Thursday and Saturday, January 7th and 9th. I'm also happy to see you by appointment, if these hours and days don't work for you. During the posted office hours, 3 to 5:00 on Thursday and Saturday, there is no need to call or make an appointment. Just come to the office west of the cemetery. There's usually little to no wait before I'm able to see you.

FISHING LICENSE

a. You can get yearly fishing licenses, vehicle insurance, boat insurance and anything else you need from Vagabundos del Mar, in Rio Vista, or work with them via e-mail or telephone 1 (800) 474-2252.

Yes, there is only daily fishing licenses on the area. The reason is that the new formats have not arrive to the state from the Federal Government, so there is not much to do. This doesn’t mean that there isn´t in the whole state. There still some at the FONMAR offices in San Jose del Cabo and/or SAGARPA offices in La Paz if you like to get your yearly ones or try to buy them on the internet on the CONAPESCA site. Until further notice there will be only daily ones here at the East Cape.

b. If you are looking for a ride to or from the SJD airport, the Aguila buses are cheap (100 pesos from San Bartolo), very comfortable (washroom and movies) and get you a short walk from the airport. There is a bus stop and office in Los Barriles, on the highway just past the hardware store. Taxis often stop at the bus stop where you are dropped off or, if you start walking, you'll easily get a shuttle to stop and bring you to the terminal. They don't have a charge and just ask for a "propina".
