Some of you may not know, but ALMA has a 'BOOK STORE'. Okay .... I
may be "stretching" it a little and using poetic license calling it
a "Book Store". It's not really a "stand alone" Book Store but part
of the ALMA storage unit. We built some book cases ....... well ....
Okay ....they're not really book cases but plywood shelves and
cement blocks. Still; the books are no longer in boxes on the ground
but are displayed for your convenience on our make shift shelving.
Hooray !!!! We have an amazing variety of excellent books. The
caliber and variety of reading material is a tribute to the
extraordinary reading appetites of our East Cape friends and
neighbors. We will open what we loosely call "THE BOOK STORE" on
January 16 between the hours of 10 am - 2 pm. This will be the first
time The Book Store will be open separate from the ALMA Rummage
Sales. Please come out to the storage units across from the new
Pemex and make our first "stand alone" book sale a success. You can
experience the pleasure of purchasing a book for a ridiculously low
price while contributing to one of most worthy non-profits in the
Cape, ALMA. What more could you ask for?
We are contemplating opening the ALMA Book Store once or twice a
month for the convenience of the avid readers in the East Cape. We'd
like you to "VOTE" to help us decide if we should open on a regular
basis and if so when. Would you please vote on the following
