b. We're OK but cut off. 3 bridges are down north of us and the
bridge south of town is out. I'm told the rivers will all be
passable today --4X4 only-- if we don't get more rain. Ed.
(Ed owns the B&B/Restaurant at the south end of El Rosario before
the bridge. Yellow building with flags and says "Starbucks coffee"

c. This is from the newspapers in Ensenada:
there is access road from Ensenada to San Vicente and Vicente
Guerrero
but Colinia Lazaro Cardenas and San Quintin still close due to the
colaps of the
Santo Domingo BRIDGE and arroyo. there is no access yet.
The Government will past the roads first in order to get water, food
and gas to all this communities,
some of them have phone service now, but no electricity yet.

d. Received 9:30am Monday 1/25/10: The federal police reported this
morning that the road may open tomorrow afternoon or early Wednesday
morning. However, more rain is expected tomorrow so we will check

In October, 2009 we met a fellow named Bill in Apache Palms RV Park,
Tempe, Arizona. Bill's a great guy...he told us all about Baja and
even taught us our first words in Spanish. Now we're here in Los
