Well Banamex has made a liar out of me. After speaking with the
Manager of Bancomer regarding the exchange of dollars to pesos last
week I visited Banamex this AM to pay a fidei and in passing
mentioned how good it was they had relaxed the laws some for
changing dollars and was told that will only change for their
customers who have accounts in both pesos and dollars!! That makes
two Banks that do whatever they please, HSBC and Banamex. Bancomer
is still good so give them your business.

New Shipment Of Gluten-free - The breadguy has added new products to
the lineup of goodies that are wheat free and gluten free. In
addition to the five kinds of pasta and DIY bread mixes, satisfy
your bread cravings with cuernitos and chocolate filled cuernitos
plus rolls, orange cookies and cinnamon cookies. Many of the
products are also baked without egg or milk.
The bakery, Pan D'Les is on Madero street in downtown La Paz in
between Sr. Sushi and the chinese restaurant. Its hard to find a
parking space and even harder to find the bakery open, as store
hours are from 8 until 2. Look for a yellow and white striped awning

Just wanted to thank Duke and the crew of the “Ms. Dina” (Capt. Dan
and Cabin Boy Dave) for an excellent day on the water. A good time
was had by all (except the wahoo and the tuna). Thanks to ALMA, too,
for hosting the Dancing Under the Stars event where we won the
cruise at auction. What a great way to raise money for a great
cause. We’ll definitely be bidding again next year!

a. Can you say dorado? Seven times yesterday our guests aboard
‘Awesome’ with Captain Luis had a chance to see beautiful dorado
gold flashing to the surface and enjoyed the benefits of bringing
them on board – and nice sized – 25 – 35 pounds! And, yes, 9
delicious tuna! ‘Too Awesome’ was busy with her own dorado, plus the
blue marlin they were fighting took up a bit of time. The tuna were
out numbering the flags (if you hang a white/blue rooster flag
upside down, it looks like a tuna flag:), and then there were those
two sneaky wahoo who were looking to decorate the deep blue ocean
for King Neptune’s garden when they teamed up and took off with two
bright shiny lures. To parlay the good news about the plethora of
fish, they were all right here, not far offshore in our East Cape
bread basket. “Orgulloso” is the Spanish word for proud, and we are,
of our small but successful Awesome Sportfishing team because we’ve
delighted our guests with such an abundant catch. If you would like
