Mailboxes put a notice in our boxes about 6 months ago
stating that could no longer send medicine thru them. I
spoke to Marta at the Cabo San Lucas office and she told me
that if we set up some new account and paid aprox. 50.00
deposit there was a way to get it here. I have chosen to
have friend bring my medicine down or I bring it myself if I
go to the states, but for those that don't have that option
call Mailboxes and ask them the new procedure on this.

QUESTIONS
a. OOPS! had wrong contact info: Does anyone know if the
road construction south to Santo Tomas is 7 days a week or
is Sunday easier to travel that route? I have had some feed
back mentioning 1-2 hour s additional travel time during the
construction. Still fairly accurate? Thanks.

b. How does one register an car (my Baja car) in South
Dakota? I went to the South Dakota DMV web site and it
doesn't seem possible? Can anybody shed some light (complete
with URLs) on this elusive animal. Is it do-able from Baja
or from another state and if so, what are steps and what
forms are required? Thanks a bunch.

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS
a. The phone number we have for Baja Cactus motel in El
Rosario is 616-165-8850. Better ask for a room in the back
of the complex because the noise from the trucks coming down
the hill kept us awake all night. There is another motel
next to the Baja Cactus called La Cabana associated with the
Mama Espinoza Restaurant. Their telephone number is
616-165-8770 or 616-165-8615. The restaurant has excellent
food. Both motels have some rooms that they allow dogs.
