EAST CAPE GUILD GENERAL MEETING
The East Cape Guild will hold the last general meeting of
2010 at Caleb’s Cafe at 11:00on Wednesday, November 17. If
you would like to hear about what we have done this year and
what we have planned for next year, please join us. We
invite you to stay for lunch after the one hour meeting. The
Guild has only one goal, to provide scholarships to keep
local students attending high school. We raise the necessary
funds by holding fun events like Saturday night’s Monte
Carlo Night. If you would like to come to the meeting please

MONTE CARLO NIGHT REPORT
The East Cape Guild would like to thank everyone who
attended Monte Carlo Night on Saturday. We also want to
thank all the wonderful vendors in our community who
generously donated prizes to be used in the silent auction,
chip redemption and raffle. Without your support we could
not hold this event. And, last, but not least we thank all
the approximately 40 volunteers who helped to make it such a
fun evening. With almost 200 in attendance Monte Carlo Night
was also a financial success. We hope everyone had as much
fun as it looked like they were having...and we look forward
to implementing some of the suggested improvements for next
year. We promise to get rid of the skinny chips.

Does anyone out there have a used laptop or desktop that
they'd like to part with? We REALLY need one for the third
grade class. It doesn't have to have anything special
installed on it - just be internet capable. AND, if you do

that for you. You can't imagine the smiles you see when
these children get to work with a computer. We tend to take
a few things for granted here or there but when you see
their enthusiasm and gratitude, well, it definitely makes my

is undergoing major remodeling. It is open but it's a mess.
I went to Aramboro's up on Forjadores on the right side
coming into town just before the 5th of February, they have
