A NOTE FROM ANN HAZARD:
I have received notice from both the Pony Express and the
Onion that my website, http://bajamagic.com is offline.
That's true. I took it offline a few months ago after
signing on with Sunbelt Publications (http://sunbeltbooks.com).
From now on they will be handling all purchases, both
wholesale and retail of all my books. In the future, should
they choose to reprint Cooking with Baja Magic Dos, they
will publish it. It was a good decision for me, because it
saves me money and work and they are selling a lot more
books than I was, especially when I was living in Florida!
We moved back to San Diego in August because my dad was ill.
He is doing much better now and will be spending
Thanksgiving at Hotel Buena Vista as usual. I had hip
replacement surgery 12 days ago, so we are staying put.

POWER YOGA CLASSES OFFERED:
Are you interested in a Power Yoga Class? We have a visiting
yoga teacher, Gayle Hazard (some of you know her folks from
Buena Vista) coming for the Thanksgiving holiday! She is
going to be teaching 2 classes at Sukhasana Yoga Aula.
The first class will be Friday, November 26 at 4pm (come and
work off some of the holiday turkey!) and the second class

Vista
with her family since she was little. She recently moved
home from
three years of living abroad in Costa Rica, where she taught
home
school, worked with the outdoor adventure school Outward
Bound, and
lived & practiced yoga in the Vida Asana Yoga Center. She
recently
completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Power Teacher Training
at Core
Power Yoga in San Diego, where she learned a comprehensive
one-hour
Vinyasa-based (breath-to-movement) class, where sequences &
postures
are explained & demonstrated, and the flow is at a
deliberate pace to
have an emphasis on alignment and breath. Gayle is really
looking
forward to getting a week's vacation in Los Barriles while
also
getting in a few chances to teach yoga! Namaste! :)

a. CELL PHONE TALK
In partial response to the query posted in the BPE, AT&T has
a not well advertised program called Viva Mexico. This costs
$15 per month which then allows you to use your cell phone(s)
in Mexico as standard minutes like you would in the US. This
works to/from Mexico and within Mexico. Does not apply to
text/data. AT&T service is good in the Los Barriles area.
Not sure about along the Baja, but going to find out in
January.

a. OOPS! My copying fingers slid past the last digit of the
phone number yesterday. Here is the complete phone number,
CD........Anyone out in "pony-land" have a 3.5mm stereo
plug/2 RCA jack (female) cable I can use until December 1?
While I only a very short (6") cable, I'd be happy with any
length. I use it to connect audio signal from my computer
headphone jack to a sound system with my digital projector.

I will be in Los Barriles the first two weeks in December,
and hope to find a boat while I'm there. I'm also open to

week in the summer and two weeks in December, and would like
