YESTERDAY,SUNDAY, OUR "FRIEND" HAD A PROBLEM WITH CUSTOMS AT
THE AIRPORT! HARD TO BELIEVE HOW SMOOTH THIS GUY WAS IN
LEADING US TOWARD DEPOSITING MONEY IN AN ACCOUNT FOR THE
LAWYER TO GET "OUR FRIEND" OUT OF GOING TO JAIL. HERE IS THE
NAME AND ACCOUNT # HE GAVE US WITH HIS CELLULAR NUMBER. WE
REPORTED IT TO THE LOCAL POLICIA. HOPE THIS DOES SOME GOOD.
THE "OFFICIAL TRANSLATOR" WAS CALLED BRUCE MC CAIN PHONE #
331 394 8569. THE BANK ACCOUNT WAS #55449201 68664994.
WE DID NOT FALL FOR THIS BUT IT ALL SOUNDED LIKE IT COULD BE
TRUE AS THEY HAD SO MUCH CORRECT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR REAL
FRIEND. BEWARE!!

HEALTH & WELFARE REPORT ON THOM DAVIS
Fran,
Got into University of Colorado Hospital just in time. They
saved my eye. Fixed the tear with a laser, injected a gas
bubble after sucking out all the gel and installed a
permanent silicon buckle around the outside of the eye.
Amazing what they can do with microsurgery. I'm in awful
shape right now....lots of nausia, anxiety,etc. I can't go
to my home in the mountains for six weeks to two months
because of the altitude. I have a good friend that's an
aeronautical engineer with Ball Areospace in boulder that's
taking good care of me.....along with a couple more
wonderful friends. Thanks so much to everybody that
responded in the BPE with warm and loving concern. Don't
ever tear your retina. It's absolutely no fun. But if you do
get to a good Retinal Specialist ASAP if you want to save
your sight.

c. Sunday morning tried to take a load of stuff to the dump,
El Coro in Buena Vista and found the entry chained off. Does
anyone know why the dump has a new chain and padlock across
the access road? Others might want to know so please respond

a. We'll be driving down for our longer winter visit in
January. We're looking for someone to caravan down the Baja
with. Let us know if you might be going down sometime after
Christmas. Also, there are often
postings about the great places that people have stayed and
people have mentioned having reservations. Does anyone have
contact information for any of the hotels coming down the
Baja? We will be bringing the dogs and can possibly leave
them in the truck if we need to. But, current info on places

to Los Barriles for this is singer/songwriter Larry Russ
from Oregon. If you haven't heard Larry you're in for a

b. In Hawaii we greet friends, loved ones and strangers with
ALOHA, which means love. Aloha is the key word to the
universal sprit of real hospitality. I hope to bring some
Aloha here to our town of Los Barriles and bring a part of

everyone that turned up Saturday nite our first day open. We
opened our doors and had close to 100 guests. We plan on
opening for lunch on weekends with a mixed plate menu of
