Yoga students: As in past years, I will be teaching 3 levels of Hatha Yoga at Sukhasana Yoga Aula in Los Barriles....we have a lovely new studio, thanks to Javier and Tehroma and each year it just keeps getting better!
This coming November through March the classes will be as follows: Wednesdays and Saturdays: 8am Intermediate Yoga: this class is for returning students, or yoga practitioners who have had at least one year of yoga instruction and practice and do not have serious physical limitations. Wednesdays and Saturdays: 9:30am Advanced Beginner Yoga: this class is for students who are new to yoga, have less than a year's experience, or who like to sleep in a little on Wed. and Saturdays!.....also, who have no serious physical limitations. and finally, Wednesdays and Saturdays: 11am Beginner Level Yoga: this class is for people who really like to get up late! or who are new to yoga, are pretty bound up or old or have injuries or chronic physical imbalances...
As always, I strongly advise you to check with your primary care physician before you begin any physical activity that you are not used to....
More classes may be added after I arrive....I am considering adding another class on Friday mornings, a meditation class (like last year) and a new Postural Alignment class....so, stay tuned! Remember to bring your personal yoga sticky mat and a playful attitude....See you all very soon! Jackie

Hola amigos, I read "The Pony" every time it comes out but i've never read anything about something that might be of interest to those of you that cross the border several times a year. What i'm talking about is called a Sentri Pass. This pass allows you to enter almost a private line at the border and once you flash your pass you are pretty much done and on your way. The pass costs a few bucks, about $125 per person or $160 for a family, but it's good for five years. In order to get a pass you must go thru a background check and they will need all your passport info and if you are a bad-guy you won't pass their screening test so don't bother applying. Cruz Roja (Red Cross) needs your help
Javier Batiz will perform a special benefit concert for the San Felipe Cruz Roja. Cruz Roja of San Felipe is in dire need of additional funds for equipment and medical supplies and we need your support to help them out. The San Felipe Lions Club has put together this benefit concert for you to enjoy for only $10 and Javier Batiz is donating his time and talent. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to help Cruz Roja.

LET’S GO TO THE MOVIES!
The East Cape Health Center ( Formally known as East Cape Community Urgent Care
Clinic ) is pleased to bring Movie Night to Los Barriles, two times a month. Films, which
include the best classics to current releases, will be shown at the Cancha on Saturday
evenings throughout the season.

So mark your calendar; make a date with your honey; and meet your friends for a night
at the movies…complete with snack bar, serving popcorn, candy, soft drinks, beer, and
wine. Films and screening dates for February through June will be announced.

December 4 and 18
January 8 and 29

Donations will support medical and dental services for local families in need.
Spanish language versions of films will be screened on the following Sunday nights.

QUESTIONS

a. Looks like for La Paz/La Ventana this is now an option: the site for La Paz is www.lapaz.gob.mx.  40% discount if paid in October. I went to the site and it's easy to look up your bill, then navigate to enter your CC information. I did all that, then hesitated to pull the trigger. Mostly because Mexico loves official pieces of paper with lots of official looking stamps on it.
Anyone tried it? Do you get an official receipt via email? Eric ericnholly@gorge.net 
****Eric just answered his own question! I just paid with my CC. You get an instant receipt on your computer via a pop-up window which you can print.
You then get a message from the site which says thank for your payment, and where and when to go if you want an official stamped receipt. I then logged back onto the site to check my property tax bill and the site told me it was already paid.
So, I think it's all good.
I did call my CC company first to tell them of a pending charge from Mexico. Eric
