Hola Amigos....The Casa Embrujada scheduled for October 29 at the Los Barriles Escuela Primaria has been canceled. The parents group decided that it was too much work for this year and they didn't have time to put it together. However, Dianna, la presidenta of the group, said that they would start planning earlier next year and would have the event for sure! In the meantime, take candy over to Magnolia's office for this year. She has already received several donations so far and is planning on passing it out to the students on the 29th. Saludos, JoAnn

The vet clinic in north beach arroyo is in desperate need of towels for the animals to lay on after their surgeries.

ROAD REPORTS

a. For those who like crossing at Tecate for various reasons. As we know there is construction on hwy 3 which some have warned not to go on 3 to Ensenada.
There have been several that have posted on other groups about an alternative. I posted their directions and I followed the directions by one person and it was great both directions, I probably would never take hwy 3 again once it is finished. Driving this route is a 4 way divided road and virtually no traffic.
You can use this route to go through Otay Mesa also vs the TJ nightmare. Saves a lot of time specially when going back to the US.

b. Looking for the best way to drive from California to Baja (Guero Negro) to do some free diving in December of this year.
