Hope you noticed… the 2 arroyos and the beach road were graded
yesterday and today. Thank you to those who contributed to the
arroyo grading project that we did last March. We had almost enough
money left over to do this current grading project. If you get a
chance please give a gracias to Rigo (Lucero Silva) who took his own
time the last 2 days to help communicate and negotiate the project
and supervise the job. Thank you Rigo!

b. Does anyone know WHAT TOWN Smokey's Card Wash is in?
(Answer: Smokey's is on main street Los Barriles. Not the entrance
down slope street off Hwy 1 but Noviembre de 20, the street that
parallels the beach. It's 3-4 blocks north of Hotel Palmas de
Cortez. CD)
c. I read in the Gringo Gazette that the Cabo Cortez project in Cabo
Pulmo has been re-approved. Anyone know what changes they have made
in the master plan? Maybe the marina is out? Thanks

d. Paying Property Taxes on line: I was able to do this successfully
about a week ago, from the USA on a Mac using Safari with a US Visa
card. I received a receipt, my card was charged, and my account was
displayed as "Paid" when I logged in again the next day. Since then,
while trying to help another friend with this I have been unable to
view my tax account information. He has been unable to view and pay
his as well. Does anyone know if there is an issue with the website
on the La Paz end of things, or what the deal might be? Eric, Hood
