brought to my attention that some businesses in our area may be
"harvesting" email address from the BPE (when you place an ad or ask
a question, etc.) and then using your address to send you their
personal advertising. I don't like it, I don't want this to happen
and I'm sorry if you are receiving unsolicited advertising. I do NOT

Hi Jorge I am sending you all this data, so people who want to be a
donator can be sure that Little Hania exists, even though if they
want to call San Jose City Hall, they know about it. Here in San
Jose there is nothing and no one left to talk to about Hania`s
problem, we even approached some well known non profit organizations
and all we had from them was a negative response, because the amount
of money is WAY TOO MUCH. Our plan is to ask for help to anyone who
wants to pay attention to Hania`s problem and build a net support ,
so whit a little help from a lot of people finally we can accomplish
our goal. Next Monday I will be flying to Monterrey, Mèxico in order
to approach Congressman to ask them if the Congress has a budget for
cochlear implants and talk to some friends that are Surgeons, wish
me luck my friend.

Chris and Debbie,
Regarding your e mail about taking your pet with you into Mexico, I
understand you were stopped by customs because your pet's rabies
vaccination had been administered more than one year before.
Unfortunately one year is what the custom considers and requires as
the maximum for current rabies vaccination. Therefore I recommend
you speak to your veterinarian so that he/she can give your pet a
yearly shot in order to comply with this requirement, and to avoid
customs detention that (unfortunately in your case) might lead to
the use of bribes.
I also suggest that if you encounter problems with bribery again
that you do not succumb to it and immediately file a complaint.
Remember that bribery works because we let them use it on us.
In order to help you avoid further problems when taking your pet
with you here is the general information on taking pets into Mexico.
If you follow these instructions you should not have problems.
General Health Animal Inspection
What to do if you want to travel to Mexico and bring you pet with
you.
In Mexico, we only consider cats and dogs as pets.
* If your pet is less than 3 months old, it would require a health
certificate.
* If your pet is older than 3 months, it would require a health
certificate, and proof of current rabies vaccination (1 year max).
* It is very important that you take all the precautions necessary
to make sure that the documents contain the information provided
such as age, breed, color, sex, etc. You can experience delays on
this process if the information is not complete.
1. When you arrive to Mexico, you must present your pet and the
documentation in our office of agriculture and health inspection.
These offices are located in all the international airports, ports
and border crossing regions in the country.
2. An officer of the government of Mexico will physically inspect
your pet.
If you come from a high-risk country, we will apply prophylactic
treatment to your dog.
3. If your pet is in a compliance with the documentation cited
above, you will
obtain a phytho sanitary importing certificate that allows your
pet’s entrance to the country.
If there are more than 2 pets, you must cover the cost of the zoo
sanitary importation certificate in the amount of $1,300.00 Mexican
pesos, payable in a banking module at the time of your arrival (the
rate changes every 6 months on January 1st and July 1st every year).
Please obtain more information from the official inspector in
charge.
What happens if you do not have the documents?
Your pet must remain in our office until a veterinarian from Mexico
of your preference can prove the state of health of your pet and
apply the vaccination for rabies. If you comply with this
documentation you can proceed with the process.
What happens if your pet has a communicable disease?
The pet must remain in our offices. You are responsible for the lab
fees and if the personal determines that your pet carries a
communicable disease, the pet must receive treatment. The expenses
must be covered by the pet’s owner.
What happens if you have an animal such a reptile, birds, Huron,
turtle or rabbits as pets?
You most comply with all the special requirements that are provided
in writing in the state offices of the secretary of agriculture,
rural development, fishing and alimentation (SAGARPA) on the module
of attention to the public located on
San Lorenzo Street #1151, lower level. Col. Santa Cruz Atoyac,
Delegacion Benito Juarez, C.P. 03310 in Mexico City. If you need
