FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..
AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE CENTERED ABOUT 150 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF
THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA IS MOVING NORTH-NORTHWESTWARD
AT 10 TO 15 MPH AND IS ACCOMPANIED BY WINDS TO GALE FORCE. THIS
SYSTEM LACKS SUFFICIENT ORGANIZED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY TO BE
CLASSIFIED AS A TROPICAL CYCLONE AT THIS TIME. ALTHOUGH
UPPER-LEVEL WINDS DO NOT APPEAR CONDUCIVE FOR SIGNIFICANT
DEVELOPMENT...AN INCREASE IN THUNDERSTORMS WOULD LIKELY RESULT IN
THE FORMATION OF A TROPICAL STORM. INTERESTS IN SOUTHERN BAJA
CALIFORNIA SHOULD MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF THIS SYSTEM AS A TROPICAL
STORM WARNING MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THAT AREA TONIGHT OR EARLY
TUESDAY. THERE IS A HIGH CHANCE...70 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM

Lately, I have received what I think are bogus emails from people I
know. The subject line is empty and I can see part of the message
displayed on my incoming page. This one tonight said:

are because someone has hacked into my friends address books. I did

YOGA CLASSES will start for the coming season the second week of
November. Jackie will be teaching three levels on Wednesday and
Saturday mornings. Stay tuned for the times....please bring your own
yoga mat this year....the studio has lots of old ones, but it is
really nice for each student to have their own...for hygienic

Fideicomisos and Forms 3520/3520A--recent developments
Amy Jetel, a lawyer in Austin, Texas (512-370-2750), wrote an
article in Trusts & Estates magazine in April 2009 concerning the
requirement to file forms 3520/3520A for a fideicomiso. It's her
position that they are not required. She would probably send a
reprint to anyone who requested one.
Amy recently represented a taxpayer in a Form 3520/3520A penalty
dispute. Amy took the matter to the National Office of the IRS and
the National Office directed the local revenue agent to back off.
This result is not binding on other taxpayers, but it's indicative
of the position the National Office might take in other cases.

a. Someone asked a question about Rattlesnake avoidance training for

b. The note in Sept BPE asking about rattlesnakes prompts me to
offer info on scorpion tracking. I learned from a bright school boy
in our East Cape community that scorpions fluoresce brightly when
illuminated with UV light. I bought a UV LED flashlight for around
$20 from Advancedmart, or you can Google uv flashlight. Mine was 385
nm wavelength and worked nicely. When I shine the light in the
fields around us, the scorpions light up in bright green as if they
have their own energy source. I found a couple on the walls of our
bedroom and got rid of them (making my wife happy!). I’ve listed a
few sources for UV LED flashlights. Disclaimer: I have no commercial
