a. Procedure for cancelling your
Telmex DSL service is as follows:
You must return your modem to your
local Telmex office when you no longer desire service.
At that time, you request that your service be
discontinued, and Telmex will cancel service and no
longer invoice you until you re-connect, if desired. Be
sure to get a receipt for returning the modem and
discontinuing service. You will no loonger be charged
for DSL, but you must continue paying for phone service
or lose your phone number. This is the only way to
cancel. If you do not return your modem, you will
continue to be charged for the service. To speak to a
Telmex rep on the phone, dial 01-800-123-2222 and press
the appropriate extension #. I do this every year. Jeff

Telmex.com.mx, and a survey of
BajaPonyExpress.com readers found the following:
There are three phone/Internet plans: 1Mb, 2Mb and
5Mb speeds with increasing local and long distance
benefits and with monthly fees respectively of
$389, $599 and $999 (pesos). Last year many, if not
all, telmex subscribers were automatically switched
to the $599 plan without their consent. By
registering at
Telmex.com.mx you can go online and switch back
to the $389 plan which will probably meet the needs
of most users. Discontinuing phone/internet
services while you are not in Mexico runs the risk
of losing your phone number and DSL connection. Some
people successfully discontinued just internet
services and were able to have them started again
with a wait of only a few days. At least one person
reported doing this but then had to wait 2 months to
get reconnected to the net. It appears the best
solution might be to stay connected during your
absence but be sure you are on the $389 plan. If

My Friends have been busy trying to find a home for the
puppy they have rescued .and was supposed to go Cape Cod
next week !
unfortunately due to personal reasons they can't take her so
they have 2 weeks to find a new home before they leave to
Europe
I have got some pictures of the puppy "Mouse " and am not
sure how to post them correctly on the PBA,so i have
attached them !
Here is some information about her:
She is about a year old, about a foot high. She is spayed
and has all her shots. She is a little bit timid as special
towards men, but once she knows you a real cuddler. She's
young so playful.
She was living on the beach for quite some time. People had
been trying to feed her and capture her but with no result
before she ran into her foster "mother". She was very skinny
but healthy. She has been checked by the vet and spaded !
My friend really want to be sure she goes to a loving home
so to people who are really serious.

for ATVs in Mexico? We are bring our quads down later this
month to leave there. Do they have to be registered? In
Nevada they no longer register ATVs, so we are unable to get
tags for them here. We do have the titles and bill of sale
etc.

b. The fishing has definitely been picking up, along with
an abundance of sea life to be seen right now! Turtles,
California greys, humbacks, porpoise and thousands of rays
are being sighted everyday. There are good numbers of Marlin
being found at 20-30 miles, as well as some nice dodos! Long
time RBV captain Jose (Pato) told me that he hooked and
landed 2 large yellowtail while trolling 25 miles offshore
last week! Something that he has never seen in his 40 some
years on the water...
There are always fish to be caught, if you chase what
is biting that is! In the last week we have boated
amberjack, yellowtail, pargo, many sierra and countless
skippys. One pargo weighed in at over 10 kg. NONE of these
fish were caught trolling or on live bait! Don't believe
