OK Team, we have to get back to some basics. This isn't
working for me and so many want to push the envelope. The
reason the BPE works is because everyday it's fresh, new and
a QUICK read. I am working on a set of guide lines so
everyone will be on the SAME page. Here is the first draft.
A. Items on the Daily Calendar. This IS the reminder. You
do not need to send in "reminders" every day for your event.
That's why I take the time to do the Calendar. Be sure I
didn't forget your event in the Calendar so check up on me.
B. Businesses: Once every two weeks unless it's a special
event. And I mean special.
If you are a business then I suggest you have a web page
or blog. Include the link in your ad and invite readers
to go to your website or blog especially if you have lots to
say.
C. Real Estate: Once every two weeks. (I must say, this
group has been very respectful)
D. Not Wanted: If your ad is more than two lines long then
take the time to learn Craig's List. There you can tell
your whole life's story. Include the link in your ad.

Sorry for your bad experiences.
It is imperative that you make a formal complaint with clear
information. Date and time it happened, streets or location
and chRacteristics of the officer. As in any other city and
country, all patrol cars have a number on them, that is too
very important. With this, we can find out who it is and
even send you a picture of the officer via email for your
confirmed recognition.
If we don't have the complaint it ends up in gossip and goes
nowhere.

If you haven’t left yet, there are some copies available at
Baja Beach Company, Plaza del Pueblo in Los Barriles and at
Baja Books & Maps located just across the arroyo from Centro
San Jose accessed by the new bridge to La Playita and Puerto
Los Cabos.
Since 2000, the East Capers bi-monthly newspaper has been
featuring articles about the culture and history of Baja
California and the East Cape region. This anthology will
give the reader an understanding and appreciation of Baja
California Sur and a clue into why so many people call the
East Cape “magic.” The anthology is a great gift for some
who may not be familiar with the area.
All proceeds from the sale of this book will be used by the
Asociación de Artes to bring the arts to local communities
and schools.

b. The world's aquarium that is our Sea of Cortez continues
to prove why Jacques Cousteau gave it this distinguished
title, especially since the waters warmed with a spring
flurry. Twice in just the past two weeks our guests have
seen the incredible ‘Ocean Sunfish’,

world’s largest and heaviest fish with adults weighing an
average of 2,200 pounds – the largest one caught off
Australia weighed 3,500 pounds! Native to temperate,
tropical waters, they look like a ginormous fish head with a
tail which has been flattened like a pancake before being
turned upright and with it's fins on the sides. They are as
tall as they are long when their dorsal and ventral fins are
extended and thought to live much of their lives at great
depths, coming to the surface to bask and warm their huge ‘headbodies’.
It was this surface basking that provided our guests such a
unique and exceptional Sunfish sighting. Unique in all ways,
female Sunfish produce more eggs than any other known
vertebrate and lucky for us, their diet consists mainly of
jellyfish! They are known in the science world as the
‘Common Mola’, but after seeing this unbelievably unique
fish perhaps it should be changed to ‘Holy Mola’! For more,
