USA--MOSTLY ART--THROUGH NOGALES
A friend is driving down with some of my household goods
from the USA and crossing at Nogales. Primarily what he'll
be bringing will be paintings and framed prints,
watercolors, etc., a couple pieces of furniture and a couple
lamps--not much? I will not be traveling with him, but
remain in La Paz.
Any advise will be appreciated. Should I email him a copy of
my FM-3 and a letter saying they are things for my home in
La Paz? Is art subject to duty? Crossing at Nogales? Is
there a time which is best for getting through quickly and
without hassle? I usually cross at 7 AM at Tecate and never
see anyone---gate is up--I stop and when there is no one
