ATM ALERT!
This afternoon my husband Stephen and I went to the Banamex
ATM machine to withdraw money. As my husband entered the ATM
room a Mexican man came in behind him. Stephen offered to
let the man go first, but the man stepped back. The ATM
machine did not work, it did not give the money and the
transaction could not be cancelled. The man stepped up, too
close, and asked if Stephen wanted dollars or pesos. As
Stephen removed his ATM card from the machine, the man
quickly slid his card into the machine. Stephen knew
immediately that somehow he had been ripped off. As soon as
we got home, we checked our online information and $867 had
been withdrawn at the Banamex ATM in Los Barriles. The
transaction has been reported to the fraud unit of our bank,
and we are reporting this to the manager of Banamex.

FIDO ALERT!
On Tuesday April 27th my dog was taken from my yard. She was
secured and when I got back from La Paz she had been let go
and taken by human hands. My rental house is in LaRibera
just south of Los Lomas subdivision. Her name is bonita she
is a dark brown Pit/Lab mix. Please if you have any info

OUR TRASH TRUCK
has been in La Paz with a broken clutch for some time now
and due to the change of command of the Municipal officers
nothing has been done. Monday, May 2, the new regime
officially takes over and supposedly we will be getting a
new trash truck plus the old one will be repaired. Time
frame?? Not sure but hopefully within 10 days after they
take office. In the mean time do as best you can and the
city dump is open every day except Sunday on the road to El
Coro in Buena Vista. Regards, Dennis
