OK, it's warmed up and Big Jim and the Revolving Door have
rescheduled their show at Costa Azul for Thursday night Feb
9th at 7:00 PM. Costa Azul is across the road from El Viejo,
they have good food, come on by and enjoy Big Jim and guests
in a great setting.

Today I discovered that my Magic Jack was not working
properly. I call forwarded my phone in San Diego to Magic
Jack like I always do. I called to make sure it was working
and nothing happened. I then got a voice message saying
that my ISP may have blocked Magic Jack and that I should
contact them to unblock it. Has anyone else experienced
this? Does anyone know a way to "fix" the problem?

There is going to be an off road race starting and finishing
in Los Barriles later this month. The race is called the
Cabo Del Este Pueblo Magico 300. The race is going to start
at about Noon on Feb 26th where the pavement ends just
south of the entrance to Hotel Palmas De Cortez and end
later that day in the first arroyo near Buenos Aires. Check
in for race participants is on Feb 25th at the driving range
at Hotel Palmas de Cortez starting around 1:00 PM through
late afternoon. If anyone wants to sign up they can register
the same day. There are expected to be as many as 200 race
participants. Special room rates are being offered at Hotel
Palmas De Cortez and Hotel Playa Del Sol for anyone wishing
to participate or just to come and watch the race. If anyone
would like more information on how to register for the race

Thank you to all the people that responded to my request for
the Le Wa WA dog groomer phone number. Luz did a wonderful
job on my Shih Tzu. While there my friend and I decided to
visit Artesano's where we happened to meet the owner of the
restaurants Villa Serena and Puerta Vieja, which is across
the street from Home Depot. what a fantastic view they
have. The food was excellent! Our lunch started with chips
and really good salsa and a platter of marinated vegetables.
We chose the daily special which was a salad, choice of
three entrees and dessert for $16.95. The view, the service
and the food were exceptional. We will certainly try Puerta
Vieja again!
