a. Carnaval La Paz 2011 – Naturaleza Viva - Begins March 03,
Thursday and runs thru March 08, Tuesday. The theme of this
year's dancing, parades and the floats is "Naturaleza Viva"
or "Nature Alive" emphasizing environmental conservation and
ecology. Most of the events will be held on the esplanade of
the Malecon in La Paz while other carnival celebrations are
celebrated in different places along the coastal walk. You
will be swept up by the joy and excitement that emanates
from the festive crowd and the rhythmic music that continues
into the early hours the next day.
