The Asociación de Artes announced today that their second
annual music festival will be held on Saturday, November 5,
2011. Over 300 hundred people attended last year and this
year will be bigger yet. The line-up will include some
international recording artists. Any local entertainers
interested in being considered for a place on the line-up

To Business Owners and other Generous Donors of the East
Cape. In the past the Festival de Artes has come to you
directly with requests for raffle donations. With our
economy being what is it, we don't want anyone to feel
obligated, so please contact us with what you might feel
comfortable donating to our raffle. A nice prize is always
great and good advertisement. Please be sure it is a new
and desirable item that will help to raise monies for our
current projects, such as the Saturday Crafts with the
elementary school kids at the DIF. We will continue to
donate art and craft supplies to the local schools and
assist with the Cursos de Verano. Cash donations at our
raffle table at the event on Sunday, April 3rd at Palmas de

18, 2011. Thanks to Maria Teresa Serrato, the owner of El
Toro y La Luna, a furniture store across the street from the
Los Barriles main entrance, we will set up in her parking
lot from 9 am to 1:30 pm. We will be serving our BBQ pork
sandwiches, and our spicy Italian sausage sandwiches,
each with creamy coleslaw. Also for breakfast we will have
a breakfast skillet, which is O'Brien potatoes with
scrambled eggs, and sausage gravy on top. Also we will have
apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. We will have frozen
sausage for sale, which must be pre-ordered. If possible,
please order by Thursday 6 pm. Per kilo, spicy Italian in
casing (links) $200 MX clams, spicy Italian in bulk, $170 MX
clams, and bulk breakfast, $170 MX clams. Bulk may be
ordered in half kilos for $85 MX clams. We will also sell
the pulled pork by the kilo for $200 MX clams. Apple
fritters, cinnamon roll and twist doughnuts $25 MX clams
