Maybe someone from there has already notified you of Bill Teagle's passing Monday night in Los Barriles.  He was a 27year off and on resident  in Los Barriles and a year ago he had a bon voyage party moving to San Diego  to be by his daughter.  Staying short of a year and missing all his friends in LB he moved back in November.  We'll all remember him with his golf cart tooling around town, breakfasting with his cronies at the Roadrunner Cafe most mornings, and in his prime years being the scorge of the rattlesnakes in La Capetta.
Sad to see the ol' timers and their stories passing,
Russett Nordling

FIDO!    Abandoned Siamese kitten, 2-3 weeks old, female. Owner of Fayla's found her on his roof and is trying to find her a home. She is drinking water/milk from his finger & will lap a little. Appears healthy but is tiny with lovely blue eyes and classic Siamese coloring. I emailed ALMA already. If you can take her even temporarily, she's at Fayla's in a small box.
(Thanks!! Debbe Rush)
============================

FIDO!     I recall a message from someone, I think; from Cabo Pulmo who is missing a male
yellow lab without a collar.  For the past two days I saw one on the main st of
LB in front of Los Viejos and then at El Barrolito last night.  He seemed lost -
friendly, no collar.  Sharon H at haydentyrer@yahoo.com

a.  Conditions are changing for the better. The yellowtail bit good this morning. Can't believe I forgot my friggin camera. We must have baited 10 marlin on the way back from Cerralvo. Most of them just sink out and it is over. We did come across a group of 3 tailers that were hungry. It was cockpit chaos!

RIDES FOR PEOPLE, STUFF and CARAVANS

a.       Traveling via the Baja Ferries from La Paz mid May 2011 and looking for someone to caravan with through Nogales and points north California, Arizona. I speak fluent Spanish and would be happy to help translate if needed. Since the ferry arrives to Topolobampo late at night, there is the Hotel Marina and Restaurant for an over night and leave the next day for the border. About 120 miles south of the Nogales border crossing there is a junction that takes you to Mexico 3 and crosses the border at Mexacali and Tecate for people traveling to California and points northwest.
I travel with 2 nice dogs and stay at pet friendly motels/hotels. I do believe its pretty safe crossing any of the borders, it just always seems better safety in numbers. Please feel to email or call me, sea00nymph@yahoo.com, 624-141-0332 and let me know if this works with your plans to caravan back to Arizona or California via the Baja Ferries. (3-29)

Exvotes(Retablos)and other Paintings
by
SEDDON WYLDE
I will be showing my new Exvoto Paintings at the Arts Festival
in Los Barriles on April 3rd.
This Mexican Folk Art is a tradition of giving thanks to
someone (usually a Saint) for a miracle (milagro).
My theme this year is animals! For example, the Rooster tells
the hen they must give thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe for the
miracle that the farmer is a vegetarian. This painting is sold but come see
what the cow, the dove, the whale and the goat have to be thankful for!
I will also be showing my small watercolours and some paintings by Jeff Heintzman.
