Important Information: A courier
arrived at my house today with a whole box of Bancomer bank
statements -more than 100 of them- addressed to people all
over Buena Vista, Los Barriles, SPA, La Victoria, etc. I
INSTRUCTED HIM TO TAKE THE BILLS TO THE BANCOMER OFFICE IN
LOS BARRILES. If you have a Bancomer account, check at the
bank for your statements. He also had a bunch of TelMex
bills which I did not see but believe were for SPA
residents. They are at the tienda at the entrance. No one
seems to know where to deliver all these bills, so everyone
needs to check. Martha Warlaumont

HEALTH INSURANCE SEMINAR
As our town grows with new homeowners and visitors we
are constantly asked about the availability, quality and
cost of medical care in Baja. Routine healthcare and
medical emergencies are a fact of life that everyone
understands. In order to help people better understand
the available options here we will be holding a seminar
on how private health insurance, Medicare and
supplements apply to Mexico.
Date: Friday 21 Jan 2011
Time: 1:30 PM
Location: Palmas Conference Center

"True Stories 4" could use 1 to 3 more
Storytellers. If you are thinking about it,
this is a nudge. Stories should be personal
and true and 6-8 minutes when read aloud.
Reading will be Thurs. Feb. 10th at Caleb's.
Just do it!

I had a piece of furniture
made or I should say remodeled by Cesar Velarde who
showed up on time, finished the job when he said he
would, and did excellent work. His number is: cell:
624 156-0903. Also, I had a terrific tile job done
by his friend Abel, who can be contacted through
Cesar because I lost his number. (Maybe Brian and
Susan can insert his number since they told me about
him). He is currently working on a job @ the Hotel
Los Barriles. Both speak enough English, are on
time, and do very good work @ reasonable prices.

also like to thank
all of the people who supported us with their purchases of our hamburgers
and hot dogs.
BUT WAIT....THERE'S MORE:

A
big thank you to all of the
bakers, volunteers and
buyers at the A.L.M.A. Booth
during the Lord of the Winds
Showdown!! We had a great 4
day sale that will help us
take care of more of our
furry friends.

Ditto to what Theresa and
Shaun wrote. We LOVED the
Lord of the Wind Showdown.
Great job Chris, Dan, Cat,
all the volunteers,
sponsors, participants and
spectators. We lost our
voices cheering, bought tons
of great food from local
vendors and restaurants,
chatted, played in the sand,
jumped on the trampoline,
and were there all day every
day. Thanks for feeding our
souls and making our spirits
soar like all the
windsurfers and kite
boarders. You entertained
and inspired us. From the
"Lord of the Wind Groupies"
(Camilla, Heidi, John,
Tehroma, Dylan, Paloma,
Javier, Carmen, Xochitl,
Cesar and families).
