Message to Bancomer customers
Good morning, some of you has been getting an email
from Bancomer saying that you need to change your peso debit
card, this is true, we are changing all the peso cards for a
new one with a chip on it, this changes is for more
protection to the cards, the cards that hasn’t been change
will not work after February, this doesn’t have any cost,
you need to go to any Bancomer branch to change the card, in
the one that I am by the government office you can change
the card at the first teller, before the number one, the PIN
number is the same you had before and after you get the new
card you need to activate the card checking your balance at
the ATM
For go online you will use now the new debit card with
the same passwords you already have, Any question please

Driving to La Paz one
morning, I stopped for Gas at the Pemex North of Todos
Santos. I asked for a magna fill up, I then walked into the
OXXO for a few waters leaving three people in the car. As I
walked out I noticed the Attendant punching the key board on
the pump (First odd move) then when I approached the car to
pay him, I noticed the amount on the pump was rather large
(we all know about what our cars take, come on guy) and the
number was FLASHING! This was the topper of my suspicion as
I have never paid a flashing amount on a pump before.
After going to the manager in the office and having him look
on his computer for that pump on that day and time (Each
attendant has his own pump for his shift and every
transaction is recorded in the office) it was confirmed that
this is what happened. After the attendant filled my tank he
cleared the pump of the proper amount and then pressed in
the amount he wanted. Which in this case was 100 peso's more
than what he pumped. He then showed me the new amount on the
pump which was flashing and said that was what I owed. The
only time the pump flashes is when they put in the amount
before they pump your gas, it will then flash until
the attendant picks up the nozzle and starts pumping the
gas. So bottom line never pay a flashing amount on the pump
(unless you enjoy getting ripped off). - Identity Withheld

Caravan and concert: Music,
drama, displays and information are part of this event at
the kiosko of the Malecón at about 4 p.m. The gathering is
the last of a day of events that includes a caravan from
Cabo San Lucas to La Paz and a boat regatta in the bay to
protest mining in BCS.

and UABCS (at 2 p.m.) to the Palacio del Gobierno and down
