A BPE TRUE STORY!
A month ago while riding my
bicycle south on the "road to
nowhere" I was struck from
behind by the mirror of a
passing truck. I skittered on my
knees and face across the rough
asphalt surface of the road
sustaining deep abrasions to my
face, knees, and right side, and
a mild concussion. Thanks to
people walking nearby I was
helped into the truck that hit
me. A passing bicyclist insisted
that she get into the truck with
me and see me safely home. This
was an extraordinary act of
kindness. My wounds were cleaned
and dressed for several days by
Luis at AmeriMed. Because of
Luis' excellent and professional
care I am almost completely
healed.
My thanks to all those who
stopped and helped, AmeriMed,
and everyone who expressed
concern.

b. Wanted to give kudos to Patty
at Los Pescadores. A rather
large group of friends converged
on the restaurant for our yearly
‘un-birthday’ party. Patty did
an outstanding job with the
dinner menu at a very reasonable
price. The restaurant was nice
and clean, warm and toasty with
the great fireplace working all
evening and the staff were
friendly. We all had a great
time and look forward to next
year’s event. Thank you Patty
and staff.
c. Da Sushi Hut Barefoot Bar, We
stopped by yesterday for lunch
and found the burgers and dogs
to be surprising good. The
atmosphere friendly with no wind
and a real treat to take a break
from the traditional restraints
of the area and relax with North
American style cooking and
atmosphere.
