Earthquake Report:

(Reuters) - A strong 6.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Sea of Cortez off Baja California, 60 miles (96 km) east of La Paz, Mexico, the U.S. Geological Survey reported on Tuesday.
The quake occurred at 11:44 a.m. local time (1744 GMT) at a depth of 3.1 miles (5.0 km). There were no immediate reports of damage.  (On my browser I entered "earthquake Sea of Cortez".  There were several reports from different sources. )

News from La Paz! The Immigration Office is Moving!
     The Immigration Office will no longer be located on the Malecon. Starting next week, the office will be located on 5 de Febrero Blvd. between Forjadores Blvd and Durango St., near McDonald's.
     If you've dealt with Immigration you probably known that it's very hard to get things done; lately, the main reason why they've taken so long is that their computer system is down all the time. So if you're planning on applying for or renewing a visa I recommend you do it as soon as you arrive.  
     In mid august I will be launching a very informative website to help you understand essential information regarding Immigration. In the meantime if you have any questions feel free to write me. Please also, tell your friends about my services. Also remember I do have many connections in the real estate, legal and property management business, so if you or someone you know needs help.

c.  Does anyone out there know of a repair place in either La Paz or Cabo that can repair a Warn 8000# winch.....Probably all it needs is a solenoid or to be unjammed.
Help not just for me but also a lot of the folks we winch out of the sand at the beach.
