Our head of projects for the Patronato Cabo del Este , A.C. is a PH
Marine Biologist from the Baja California Sur University Carlos
Villavicencio and he explained that a possible red tied contaminated
the fish and the Pelicans are dying in the entire East Cape all
away from Los Cabos to our way ! Also we have records from years
past where we had dead pelicans the same way ! Pepe

This Friday July 29, the Downtown Cabo Art Festival is presenting a
wonderful show which includes the poetry of Conchita Cabrera with
Ceci Miro and Amdeleli Yaber, along with a photo montage - "Silly
Women" starting at 8PM. And as always, many artists will be there
doing and selling their art. From 6 to 9 PM in the Plaza Amelia
Wilkes, in the heart of San Lucas.

Just got home from LA. Lots of construction going on. A few bumpy
stretches that are annoying but nothing special. The part that is
bad is Southbound from the Military checkpoint North of Guerro
Negro. I wouldn't want to take a motorhome or pull a trailer the way
it was yesterday. The Southbound traffic has been diverted off the
roadway and it has turned into that foot deep powder with no
traction. And, that foot deep powder is covering foot deep holes! I
went into 4 wheel drive a couple times. Of course it's only about 5
miles!
QUESTIONS
a. Planning to leave a vehicle next time down to East Cape – I’m a
seasonal visitor.
Can anyone tell me the protocol re. doing such a thing? Can it be
done? How/can I insure it locally annually and still have home
plates on it? Thanks, Bev email
