HOSPITAL WITH MY FRIEND CHANTAL, THE DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT
THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY BLOOD DONATIONS FOR ONE
PERSON IN SUCH OF SHORT PERIOD OF TIME!!! TO ALL OF YOU;
WHEN CHANTAL AND I SAW A GUY WALKING IN AT THE AMERIMED WITH
A COOLER FULL OF BLOOD SURPLUS SAYING " SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR
JEFF'' THAT WAS PART OF YOU CROSSING THIS ROOM FOR A SECOND
CHANCE OF LIFE!... AND 5 MINUTES AFTER HE HAD A TRANSFUSION
OF THIS BLOOD, OF HOPE! OUR EMOTION WAS SO PALPABLE... JEFF
KNOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING AND HE IS VERY TOUCHED BY ALL YOUR
ACTION OF HELPING. BUT THE BATTLE IS NOT OVER YET AND YOU
NEED TO KEEP GOING FOR DONATION OF BLOOD, IN HIS CASE HE
WILL NEED A FEW MORE TRANSFUSIONS BEFORE HE WILL BE OUT OF
THE WOODS! ALL TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT! EVERY DROP COUNTS...

b. Note from a donor:
We drove to La Paz today to give blood at the blood bank and
were turned away because we had drank alcohol in the last 24
hrs. . We were upset that we couldn't give and just want to
post an FYI for anyone who goes to the blood bank in La Paz
to be aware of their conditions so you won't go for not. Be
sure you haven't drank any alcohol in the last 24 hrs, that
you haven't had any surgery or tattoo's in the last 90 days,
that you have not eaten in 4 hrs and if your female that you
are not menstruating. We know the importance of donating
blood for Jeff right now and just want anyone that is
willing to be able to do so.
c. Unfortunately, the confusion about blood donations, the
how and where still exists. My next project will be to
simplify this process. If you have something to share about
donating blood, please drop me note. This is to important

Hi! I would like to thank everyone who offered to give our
little hummingbird a new home. I was amazed at how many kind
people offered to give the little hummer the care she would
need, love, and the extra attention she requires right now.
We can go home to Baja Norte knowing we have giving her the
best chance for a good life. Thanks to everyone in the

We recently flew to LB with our two
chihuahuas in cabin. By following the directions on the
Mexican Sagarpa/Senasica website,
http://www.senasica.gob.mx/?Idioma=2&id=623 to the
T, our arrival with our little treasures went very smooth.
They took the original
letters and gave us back the copies. However, they took the
original rabies certificates, so be sure to have copies for
your trip back. They were not interested in the bedding
(little blankets) nor did they issue a certificate as
mentioned on the site. The inspection was done after we went
thru the red/green light booth.
To be safe, I printed out the page in both
English and Spanish......just in case there was a
"different" interpretation. Keri

c. 1983 Toyota Sunrader Motorhome: 122 K miles, 18’, 4
cylinders. Fully self contained motorhome with all the
amenities of a much bigger rig. Recent work includes: 6
brand new tires, new brakes, new wood floor, cab repainted,
regular maintenance. What it needs: repair or replace
fresh water tank, plexi-glass window in sleeping loft above
driver’s seat.
In tip top restored condition these go for up to 15K, even
this old. In really junky condition, with lots of major
repairs needed, they go for 3K. I have about 7500 mangos
into it, and am asking 6500 - negotiable if the buyer is
willing to take on the job of getting the window and water

My son Madison is graduating the Sacramento
fire fighters academy on May 21st and I am looking for a

Beach glass and broken tile of all sizes and colors are
needed for the mosaic I have started on the wall outside
between my shop and Quadman. Stop in anytime to see the
progress .Also plant clippings of indoor or outdoor house
plants to hang under the new sombra would be welcome.
